Jayne Howard B.Ed(Hons); PgDip; MA; FRSA
Jayne Howard is an experienced professional in the public and third sectors, used to working at a high level, to a high standard and subject to a good deal of scrutiny.
Jayne was Director of Arts for Health Cornwall for 11 years, an organisation which she led to several prestigious awards. Prior to that she had careers in education and the NHS in which she held a variety of posts, including Director of Public Health and leading on patient and public involvement.
Her working life has been characterised by a focus on working in partnership to tackle issues of inequality and social justice within a range of organisational cultures.
She is a Board Director of Healthwatch Cornwall, the statutory people’s champion for health and social care, and a Dementia Friends Champion, promoting the concept of living well with dementia in local communities.
With over 25 years experience in the sector Jayne is able to bring creative approaches to a wide range of health and social issues.
